Are You Ready for an Unforgettable Jiu Jitsu Adventure?

Prices starting at $700.00!

Nosara, in Costa Rica, is one of the most beautiful places on earth. It's considered a "blue zone"ā€”a geographic area where people are fitter, healthier, and live longer.

Nosara has always been a popular destination for yoga and surf enthusiasts. But now, it's an incredible Jiu Jitsu destination, thanks to Breathe Jiu Jitsu Nosara.

I'm honored to be teaching a 5 night/4 day Jiu Jitsu training camp this December 3 - 8 (arrive on the 3rd, leave on the 8th) that focuses on the principles of efficiency, leverage, and control, with both classic gi Jiu Jitsu and modern no-gi grappling techniques.

It's an all-inclusive camp at the gorgeous Selina Nosara Hotel. All ages (adults) are welcome!

Your accommodations, food, ground transportation, sunset catamaran cruise, yoga, and surf lessons are included!

Airfare is not included.

This camp is going to fill up fast, so please don't wait to reserve your spot.

The twice-daily training (gi and no-gi) happens at the resort itself for convenience, but you are encouraged to take advantage of the extra activities.

This is an incredible destination to bring your spouse or "plus one". Or, you can share a room with a training partner from your home academy for the ultimate bro vacation.

Have you been to Costa Rica?

I was in Costa Rica last December training and teaching BJJ, and it stands as one of the highlights of my life.

December is also one of the best times of the year to visit.

Are you excited yet? I sure am!

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Hi, I'm Rick Ellis. I'm a Jiu Jitsu blackbelt under legendary Professor Roy Dean.

I believe that good Jiu Jitsu is highly efficient and technically impeccable. As an older athlete, I canā€™t rely on my physical attributes for success, so I've built my game around the principles of efficiency, leverage, and control.

In my view, effectiveness in Jiu Jitsu is a byproduct of technical mastery and the mastery of oneā€™s own body. This approach is the key to longevity in the art.

This approach is what I teach.
